Requirements for ".AL", ".COM.AL", ".NET.AL" and ".ORG.AL" Domain Name Registration

Owner of the domain name must be incorporated in Albania. If you do not have a company in Albania, we will register the domain to the name of our representatives in Albania and make it available to you; this alternative would have no additional charge.

Requirements for ".AD" Domain Name Registration

In order to register an .AD domain name, you must have a trademark registration in Andorra (Wordmark in class 42). Trademark must match the domain you wish to register. If you don’t have one, we can file a trademark registration for you.

Requirements for ".BA" Domain Name Registration

For .BA domain names, a simple Power of Attorney (Notarization IS NOT required) and a Declaration of Use; templates will be provided after the domain is requested.

Requirements for ".BG" Domain Name Registration

Your domain can be registered in a ”protected” form if the name of the owner is the same as the name of domain .bg you would like to register or if you have a registered trademark in Bulgaria or in the European Union with the same name as the domain you would like to register. Your domain can be registered in an “unprotected” form if the name of the owner is different to the name of the domain you wish to register or if you don’t have a registered trademark in Bulgaria or the European Union with the same name as the domain you wish to register. In case of dispute, a domain "unprotected" can be transferred by the authorities of Bulgaria to the person who started the dispute, provided they have sufficient basis to use the domain "unprotected". This person will have higher priority over the domain. bg than the holder of the domain "unprotected". The client must sign a Power of Attorney document (we provide the template) which must be signed and notarized at the Bulgarian consulate. You must send the original Power of Attorney document to Bulgaria.

Requirements for ".COM.CY" Domain Name Registration

Any company or individual from Cyprus can register .com.cy domain names. If you do not meet these requirements, we will proceed with registration of the domain to the name of our representatives. If you choose this alternative, after registration we can send you a Certificate of Ownership for your domain upon request. Please notice that .com.cy domains must be renewed on December 31st of every year; for example if you request your domain on September 2010, you will have to renew it on December 31st 2010. Please bear in mind that you are not allowed registering domain names of general meaning, identifying a group, an activity or a business sector.

Requirements for ".EU" Domain Name Registration

.EU domain names are restricted to European Citizen or European Company. If you are not able to meet this residence requirement, we will register the domain to our European Branch, and then we will make the domain available to you; this alternative does not have additional cost. Requirements for ".FI" Domain Name Registration

-In order to register a .FI domain name, you must have a trademark application/registration in Finland or in the European Union (Community Trademark). Trademark must match the domain you wish to register. -If you are not able to meet this requirement, we can file a trademark application in Finland for an additional cost of USD 550. Please notice that as soon as you have a trademark application we would be able to file your domain registration. -Additionally you must have a Finnish representative, if your company does not have one, we will proceed with registration of the domain to the name of our representatives in Finland and make it available to you; this alternative does not have any additional cost.

Requirements for ".FR" and ".COM.FR" Domain Name Registration

- FR: domain owner must be a French company or must be a holder of a French trademark. If you cannot fulfill this requirement, we can help you registering your company/trademark in France, or we can proceed with registration to our company name in France and then make the domain available to you (Trustee Service), this last option is free of charge. Please notice that if the .com.fr domain is already registered, only its owner has the right to register the .fr. For example if you want to register the domain abcd.fr but abcd.com.fr is already registered by someone else, then you cannot register abcd.fr (unless you are also the owner of abcd.com.fr, both domains must have the same owner) - COM.FR: may be carried out by legal persons carrying French nationality, French residents and businesses/associations registered in France. If you cannot fulfill this requirement, we can help you registering your company/trademark in France, or we can proceed with registration to the name of our representatives in France and then make the domain available to you (trustee service), this last option is free of charge Please notice that if the .fr domain is already registered, you cannot register the .com.fr.

Requirements for ".IE" Domain Name Registration

In order to register .ie domain names, Owner of domain must meet some requirements: - One option is that Owner is a corporation (from any country) with a trademark registration from Ireland or a Community Trademark. - Another option is that Owner has a Trademark from any other country, in this case, owner will also have to send trademark certificate and provide evidence of some connection to Ireland, this may include: * Copies of invoices (showing trade to or from Ireland) * High-quality brochures * A signed letter on headed paper from a bank manager, firm of chartered accountant(s), registered auditor(s), tax consultant(s) (where the tax advisor identification number is displayed), or solicitor(s) confirming the applicants trade with Ireland. Norwegian law forbids the advertisement for gambling in Norway, this includes the use of .no domains.

Requirements for ".PT" and ".COM.PT" Domain Name Registration

-For .PT domain registration a trademark application from Portugal or European Union (community trademark) is needed, its name should match that of the domain. If you do not have a trademark, we can apply one in order to meet this requirement. If you don’t have a trademark there is another alternative for registering a .PT domain name, your company name should match the name that you are trying to register. That is, if the name of your company (foreign company or local company) is "ABCDE .INC" you may submit the domain "abcde.pt". In case of this alternative, you will have to send us incorporation certificate from the country in which the company was incorporated. -For .COM.PT there are no requirements.
