Requirements:
In order to register .ie domain names, the owner must:
- be an Irish citizen or resident (individual) registering his own personal name, or
- be an incorporated company registering its corporate name, or
- have a registered trademark, or
- be a sole trader, company or unincorporated association who hold a registered business name
Besides, all applicants who are not situated in Ireland must demonstrate a real and substantive connection with Ireland (with the exception of those applying by means of Community Trademark).
If you are unable to meet one of the above options, you can file a Trademark in Ireland or in the European Union through us. This way you would be able to register a .ie domain.
