-For .PT domain registration a trademark application from Portugal or European Union (community trademark) is needed, its name should match that of the domain. If you do not have a trademark, we can apply one in order to meet this requirement.
If you don’t have a trademark there is another alternative for registering a .PT domain name, your company name should match the name that you are trying to register. That is, if the name of your company (foreign company or local company) is "ABCDE .INC" you may submit the domain "abcde.pt". In case of this alternative, you will have to send us incorporation certificate from the country in which the company was incorporated.
-For .COM.PT there are no requirements.
