Google Apps is a service from Google that allows you to use several Google based products, it features several Web applications with similar functionality to traditional office suites, including: Gmail, Google Calendar, Talk, Docs, Sites and technical support offered by Google.

Google Apps (Standard Edition) is FREE of charge, it will allow you to configure up to 50 free e-mail accounts, with more than 7 GB of storage capacity.

This service allows you to create custom email address, for example info@yourdomain.com, mail search tools and integrated chat. The email accounts also can be configured for programs such as Outlook, using POP or IMAP at no additional cost.

Marcaria.com has developed a "One Step Integration" process with Google Apps:

Once the domain is registered, enter into your Marcaria.com account click on your domain name and then click the button "Integrate with Google Apps" we will proceed with the configuration. The user will be notified as soon as the integration process is finalized.

This service allows our clients to define unlimited changes to a Domain Name Zone File, including the ability to add and modify MX records, A records, CNAME records, etc.

The zone file is a text file stored on a name server which contains all the information that is relevant to a domain in order to work on the Internet.

Example: If you type www.mydomain.com in your web browser you will be redirected to www.company.com.

Email forwarding allows you to create custom email addresses (ex: admin@yourdomain.com) and redirect received email messages to an existing email address of your choice.

Example: Your emails sent to admin@yourdomain.com will be forwarded to your personal email admin@mycompany.com.

To manage your email/URL forwarding, please follow these steps:

- If you want to modify Email Forwarding, click on “Edit Mail Redirection”. Then insert the name of the username of the domain mycompany.com (Ex: admin), and the email address where you want it to redirect to (Ex: sales@myenterprise.com).

- If you want to modify URL Forwarding, click on “Edit Url Redirection”. Then insert the URL of the website that you want your domain to be redirected to (example: http://www.myenterprise.com).
